Water is a huge part of weight loss. Without it you might think you've hit a plateau or the new lifestyle isn't working but really you just need to drink more water. 

How much water should I drink each day?

It's recommended each woman drink 60-90 ounces of water per day. This includes the water in coffee, tea or smoothines you drink. So if you're drinking 1c of coffee every morning then you don't need to drink another 8 oz. on top of that. Just count it towards your water intake. Overtime you'll get to where your body craves more water because you've cut out sodas and other sugary drinks.

The “alkaline” in alkaline water refers to its pH level. The pH level is a number that measures how acidic or alkaline a substance is on a scale of 0-14. For example, something with a pH of 1 would be very acidic, and something with a pH of 13 would be very alkaline.

Alkaline water has a higher pH level than regular drinking water. Because of this, some advocates of alkaline water believe it can neutralize the acid in your body. Normal drinking water is generally a neutral pH of 7. Alkaline water generally has a pH of 8 or 9.

This is important because.... When your body is highly ACIDIC it is a prime setting for cancers to be able to grow.  Cancer cannot grow in a body that is in an Alkaline State. This is why it's important to get your body to a more alkaline state by adding certain foods to your diet like FRESH Lemon juice to your water. You may think... why Lemon Juice? Isn't that acidic?  Yes, it is an acidic fruit but once eaten it actually does the opposite for you and gets rid of the acid already in your body. Acids in the body are caused from sugar, gluten, sodas and processed foods to name a few. 

Even though it's hard... It's worth it!
